Disney Live - Feld Entertainment The Client Disney Live is a new production from the producers of Disney on Ice, Feld Entertainment. Disney Live will feature the classic character Winnie the Pooh and friends and perform on stage in theaters and small arenas. Christopher Robin will narrate the lovable adventures of Pooh, Tiger and their friends, as the entire cast comes to life to make the storybook tale three dimension and interactive. The show will play for one to two weeks in each local market it visits in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and then Europe. The Project StudioCinna is the author of the concepts and designs for the Disney Live Web site presentation and was approached by an Internet agency and asked to create their new business presentation. The Internet agency provided an information sheet summarizing the project, information about the targeted audience, mothers and children, and the key points that Disney and Feld Entertainment (The Disney Live Team) wanted to see within the pitch for the account. The Disney Live Team did not provide access to the Disney media library and since it was a new product for the Disney production range; no logo or brand identity had been established for the Disney Live Production and one needed to be created for the pitch. The Timeframe - Four Days The Internet agency decided to pitch for the account at the eleventh hour, which gave StudioCinna only a four-day time frame to design and create the Internet agency's new business presentation, which included:
The Results Within the four-day time frame, StudioCinna successfully packaged the new business pitch by providing the Internet agency with the design presentation, effective copy writing, and extensive core concepts, which the Internet agency submitted to Disney and Feld Entertainment on CD-Rom. Concepts and Design on Target When viewing the launched Web site, StudioCinna was delighted to see that another Internet agency which had successfully won the account, had developed similar concepts which included; the flying bees, follow the character and that the imagery stayed similar in tone, visual content and appearance. The launched Web site confirms that StudioCinna was on target with its concepts especially the stage concept that should have been included within the presentation, (shown bottom right) as it may have been one of the key factors that tipped the scales during The Disney Live Team agency selection process. |
